Shipping Policy – New and Pre-Owned Equipment

Scientific Calibration, Inc. (“SciCal”) ships all pre-owned equipment with care to ensure safe and secure transport.

• Shipping Terms: All shipments are F.O.B. Origin (Shipping Point). Title and risk of loss transfer to the customer once the equipment leaves place of shipment

• Shipping Costs: All shipping, freight, crating, insurance, and delivery charges are the responsibility of the customer.

• Carrier Responsibility: Any damage or loss occurring during transit must be resolved directly with the shipping carrier.

• Packaging: Equipment is professionally packaged. Crating is strongly recommended for sensitive instruments to reduce the risk of transit damage.

• Local Pickup: For customer-arranged or local pickup, SciCal is not responsible for damage once the equipment leaves our premises.

• Inspection Upon Delivery: Customers should inspect shipments immediately upon arrival and retain all packaging materials until the equipment is installed and verified.
